Help Keep Jimmy on the Roof to Feed Our Neighbors in Need

South St. Paul Mayor Jimmy Francis will be on the roof at Neighbors for a good cause and you can help keep him there! His daily goal is to raise 5,000 dollars / pounds of food for South St. Paul’s annual Minnesota FoodShare campaign. Help him reach his daily goal and he will go up on the roof the following day. The South St. Paul Lions Club has generously donated the first $5,000 to put him on the roof. All donations support Neighbors, Inc. and its hunger relief programs.

Fundraiser Details:

  • Dates: April 6 – 9, 2021
  • Times: Mayor Jimmy Francis will be stationed on the roof at Neighbors from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Daily fundraising goal: $5,000 / pounds of food.
  • Each day the community reaches the daily goal, Mayor Francis will go back on the roof the following day.
  • All donations for the “Mayor on the Roof” fundraiser will count towards the City of South St. Paul’s Minnesota FoodShare campaign for Neighbors.
  • Donations can be made online at neighborsmn.org/donate (designate Mayor on the Roof), in-person (ie. given to Mayor Francis directly) or mailed in to Neighbors at: 222 Grand Avenue W, South St. Paul, MN 55075 (please put “Mayor on the Roof” in the memo line).
  • The City of South St. Paul’s 2021 Minnesota FoodShare goal is to raise 55,075 pounds of food / dollars. Their theme is “Get it done in 2021.”
