Community Events

Neighbors’ Supporters often have events to raise funds, food and clothing for our programs. We are so grateful for these events! Please consider attending these events to support Neighbors, Inc.

2018 Community Support Events

First Pace Credit Union Food Drive

Now through October 5th, First Pace Credit Union at 161 Marie Ave E, West St Paul, MN 55118 will be collecting donations for the Neighbors, Inc. food shelf. They are looking for donations of:

Non-perishable food
Powdered laundry soap
Dryer sheets
Powered dishwasher soap

Sip & Spell – Adults Only Community Spelling Bee

WHO: Teams of 2-5
WHERE: Croatian Hall (445 2nd Ave S, South St. Paul)
WHAT: Up to 12 teams spell words in costume to compete for a good cause, a sweet trophy and bragging rights
WHEN: Thursday, October 25 @ 6:30 pm
WHY: To raise $$ for the South St. Paul Public Library A Book for Every Child campaign, benefiting Neighbors, Inc. Spectators are welcome with a monetary donation to Neighbors encouraged at the door.

Woodbury Chorus & Orchestra to be at St. Stephens

November 4, 2018 for Food Shelf Concert

The Woodbury Chorus and Orchestra under the direction of Cindy Martinson will present “Songs of Hope” on November 4, 2018 at St. Stephens Lutheran Church, 1575 Charlton in West St. Paul, MN at 4:00 pm. This will be the 25th concert WCO performed for the benefit of Neighbors, Inc. Food Shelf. This concert of familiar orchestral and choral music will include Omnia Sol, Ave Verum, Requiem, The Awakening,  You’ll never Walk Alone with Climb Every Mountain, Will the Circle Be Unbroken, Wayfaring Stranger, and Make Me an Instrument of Thy Peace.

During the concert, a free will offering will be taken with 100% of the proceeds to benefit Neighbors, Inc. Food Shelf.  To date, the Chorus and Orchestra has raised $51,898 to benefit the Neighbors, Inc. food shelf.
