Check out the report from our guest blogger Matt’s latest burger stop:

For my next stop, I chose B-52 Burgers & Brew in Inver Grove Heights along — you guessed it — Highway 52. This place has a great atmosphere, with comfortable booths and many huge TVs along the walls. That might be part of the reason why B-52s was packed on a Thursday night, but I learned there are many other attributes that made this the place to be.

The service was attentive and kind. Our waitress, Courtney, started things off well by carding me, even though I reached the legal drinking age several years before her birth. I’m sure they have a policy to check the IDs of anyone who looks under 60, but it made me feel good nonetheless.

My burger this evening was the B-52 Burger, as I figured I should try the signature burger named after the restaurant. With jalapenos, banana peppers, pepper jack cheese and chipotle mayo, this burger earned the two flames that appear next to it on the menu. The Summit EPA was working overtime cooling off my taste buds. But under all that fire and spice lay a juicy and perfectly-cooked beef patty that was second to none.

By the time the manager, Matt (no relation), came by to check on our table, I was happy and my plate was empty. Thanks to B-52 and its staff for a great night, and for participating in this noble cause.
