Our friends from the TC Burger Club are back to review another round of burgers for the Great Neighbors’ Food Fight competition and fundraiser. They sampled the remaining four burgers in this year’s competition and are happy to share their thoughts with you. Here is what they had to say about their experience at South St. Paul’s Kaposia Club restaurant:
Chorizo Burger
Chorizo burger topped with jalapenos, pepper jack cheese and deep fried onions with ranchero sauce
The Kaposia Club offers one of two burgers in this year’s Food Fight lineup featuring chorizo meat, but although the description had us prepared for something spicy, the mixture of flavors we experienced reminded us more of an Italian sandwich (we attributed this creamy tomato flavor to the combination of melted cheese and ranchero sauce).
We all really liked this burger. It’s BIG and juicy with lots of gooey cheese. It also was some amazing crispy fried onions on top and we agreed they used a great bun that held all the ingredients together nicely (one more time…. gooey melted cheese!).
Don’t forget to order a basket of their crispy fries! Delicious!
